MEET SPIRIT T THE CELEBRITY OF OUR TIME.

  As a young Cameroonian artist, Nformi Rinus Ngwang, born on 19 June 1992, artistically known as Spirit-T, grew up from a humble background with a visionary mind to raise the flag of his country with music. He is an offspring of Nformi Joseph and Nformi Justine with four siblings. As a proud Cameroonian from the North-west region, he musically presents the cultural values of his native origin Nkambe found in the Dunga-Mantung Division.

His musical career germinated at the age of twelve when he was still in secondary school in his hometown (Bamenda). At this time, he started like a rapper, always doing freestyle during break time in class with his friends hitting the bench to produce rhythms considered then to be instrumentals. He later on summoned the courage to participate on a radio freestyle Program every Sunday until he started writing his own lyrics. He, by his effort recorded a number of demos in the small studios he could find around his town. At the age of sixteen, the same year he was writing the ordinary level examination started taking   lessons on the beat making software (fruity loops). After he obtained the advanced level in 2011, He decided to take music and showbiz fulltime despite the reproach from his parents claiming it is not lucrative in the Country.

  However, he further shaped his musical career in Cejay Productions, an audiovisual production house in Bamenda. This was a platform where he discovered most of his musical potentials. For two years, he worked as a sound engineer and producer (beat maker) in the recording studio of Cejay productions, recording numerous songs and testing his abilities in different musical genres. At this time, he discovered that the contemporary afro pop was most suitable for his unique and powerful voice. He gradually developed his identity in afro pop by combining reggae, hip-hop, R&B and Afro music. This went along way to stamping his music flow, which we all hear today and appreciate in his songs like "ça va aller", "cam no go", "Ngwagu",”Ndolo” and so on

A year later , he moved to kribi where he joined the vision of his long time friend Pt Boy in the blue flame production studios.  Here, he continued recording stronger and more powerful songs. From there, he moved to Douala working as an Audio visual technician at Black sheep TV where  he shaped his career making it market ready with mentoring  from big brains in  Cameroon showbiz   such as Ach 4 life, Kedja Whyti, Tony Nobody JP Signe and many others . He is also a music Video Director and a graphic designer.
He has produced, recorded ,mixed and mastered so many songs of other artist, like Nowell,Nelly Moukoko,Eko Roosevelt, Mink's,Phanam, Tony Nobody, Olivier,Freshky,Zapata, Pt Boy, Franky P, Tizeu,Le Beger, Djelo,Emily Nea,Frank thypi,and uncountable others and the list still continues till date. He has also directed music videos  for some of the above mentioned artists.
