THE STRIKE ACTION CONTINUES IN DOUALA

Following the strike action in bamenda some companies in douala decided to introduce their own problem in light with the instability in the country.
On monday the 12th of december 2016 SHANTIER NAVAL and PLACAM two Douala based companies enroll into a seriouse company protest at about 6:30am that monday morning on the WURI breach.

The workers of those companies said and i qoute "THERE IS MISMANAGEMENT , NON PAYMENT OF SOCIAL INSURANCE AND SOME OTHER BENEFITS THEY WHERE PROMISED.
the strike lasted for about 4 hours when the police came in fireing tier gas and life bullets to kill. the arm forces finally arrested twenty rioters and taken to the second district police station Douala.
